Founded in 1999 by Prof. Dr. P. V. A. Mohandas, MIOT International began as a 70-bed institution focused on orthopaedics and trauma care and has since grown into one of Chennai's largest private hospitals. It is today led by Managing Director Dr. Prithvi Mohandas.
Accredited by NABH and NABL, the hospital now spans more than 1,000 beds and offers comprehensive care across over 60 specialties. Its clinical strengths include orthopaedics and joint replacement, cardiac sciences, neurosciences, organ transplantation, and critical care.
