Dr Swarup Pal

Dr Swarup Pal completed his MBBS at LTMMC Sion, followed by MS and MCh from Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospital, where he received specialized training in adult and pediatric cardiac surgery. He trained under Padma Bhushan Dr M R Girinath at Apollo Hospital Chennai, was involved in academics as a DNB teacher there, and further refined his surgical expertise.

His current practice encompasses all complex coronary surgeries including total arterial beating heart bypasses, valve repairs and replacements, congenital heart defects, aortic procedures, cardiac tumors, and minimally invasive approaches. His lung surgery experience includes decortication, VATS, and procedures for collapsed lungs, tuberculosis, and hydatids.

In vascular surgery, he performs carotid reconstruction, limb artery reconstruction for gangrene and diabetic foot, hemodialysis access creation, and oncological vessel reconstruction. He maintains active involvement in emergency trauma management and leads heart failure programs including transplantation, mechanical support devices, and advanced circulatory support systems.
