Dr. Sheikh Mohd Murtaza

Dr Sheikh Mohd Murtaza is a Consultant in Paediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery with over 12 years of experience in adult and pediatric cardiac surgeries. He is a trained Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon from All India Institute of Medical Sciences and has extensive expertise in managing complex congenital and acquired cardiac conditions.

He is experienced in performing both on-pump and off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), including LIMA, RIMA, and radial arterial graft harvesting, as well as valve replacement procedures such as AVR and MVR. His expertise also includes congenital heart surgeries such as ASD closure, VSD repair, Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) repair, Bidirectional Glenn procedure, Fontan procedure, TAPVC repair, arterial and atrial switch operations, and truncus arteriosus repair.

Dr Sheikh Mohd Murtaza has also been actively involved in ECMO support services and heart transplant programs at All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He is currently associated with Sarvodaya Hospital Sector 8, where he provides specialized pediatric and cardiac surgical care.
