Dr. Ajit Pai is a Consultant Surgical Oncologist and Robotic Surgeon specializing in gastrointestinal cancers, including cancers of the esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, pancreas, small intestine, colon, and rectum. He serves as the lead consultant for gastrointestinal and hepatopancreaticobiliary oncologic surgery.

His expertise includes minimally invasive (laparoscopic and robotic) cancer surgeries, complex multivisceral resections, and specialized procedures for retroperitoneal sarcomas involving major blood vessels. He is also experienced in intraoperative chemotherapy techniques such as HIPEC and PIPAC for abdominal cancers.

Dr. Pai has published widely in international journals, contributed book chapters, and presented at global oncology conferences. His research focuses on robotic surgery outcomes, minimally invasive liver and pancreatic cancer surgery, and advanced treatments for peritoneal and metastatic abdominal cancers.
