Dr. A. B. Mehta is a legendary cardiologist and Director of Cardiology with over 50 years of experience in interventional cardiology and advanced cardiac care.

He is a pioneer in coronary angioplasty in India and has performed and supervised more than 20,000 angioplasties and over 100,000 angiographies. His expertise includes complex procedures such as chronic total occlusion (CTO) angioplasty, rotablation, left main and bifurcation interventions, laser atherectomy, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).

He has received some of India’s highest civilian honors, including the Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri, for his outstanding contributions to cardiology. He is also known for pioneering work in drug-eluting stents and primary angioplasty for heart attacks in India, and has held leadership roles in major national and international cardiology organizations.
