Dr. Sumit Mrig is a senior ENT specialist and Director & Unit Head – ENT and Audiology with over 19 years of experience in ENT and cochlear implant surgery.

He is widely recognized for his expertise in cochlear implants, hearing restoration procedures, skull base surgery, vertigo treatment, sleep apnea surgery, and complex otology procedures. He is among the youngest cochlear implant surgeons in India and Asia and has successfully performed more than 700 cochlear implant surgeries in both children and adults.

Dr. Mrig is also known for pioneering initiatives in cochlear implant programs, including starting an independent cochlear implant program in Africa and mentoring multiple centers across India. His special interests include hearing loss treatment using cochlear, BAHA, and Bonebridge implants, head and neck cancer surgery, and minimally invasive ENT procedures.
