He is presently the Head of the Department of Pediatric Cardiology and Adult congenital heart disease at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. He excels in all aspects of the medical field, however, be has pioneered interventional cardiology in India. Dr. S Radhakrishnan was an instrumental in conducting the first Balloon Dilation of the Atrial Septum and Mitral Balloon Valvuloplasty at AllMS, New Delhi. He is also recognized for performing more than 3000 cardiac catheterizations He has also executed over 5000 echocardiography cases.
