About the doctor

Dr. Palep completed his MBBS from Seth G S Medical College, followed by MS from BYL Nair Hospital. He served as Associate Professor at Grant Medical College from 2007-2014.

He was the first surgeon in India to receive fellowship training in Italy for robotic GI surgery and has performed numerous robotic gastrointestinal and hepato-pancreato-biliary procedures. He established bariatric surgery departments at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital.

He has trained multiple surgeons through hospital courses, demonstrated cases at international conferences, and published peer-reviewed articles.
