Dr. Aabha Nagral is a senior gastroenterologist and hepatologist with more than 30 years of experience, currently serving as Director of the Department of Gastroenterology at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre in Mumbai.

She is widely known for her expertise in liver diseases such as cirrhosis, fatty liver, viral hepatitis, portal hypertension, Budd–Chiari syndrome, Wilson disease, and liver cancers, as well as for her work in both adult and pediatric liver transplantation. Over her career, she has trained at major international centers including institutions in London and the Mayo Clinic in the United States, and she played a key role in establishing Western India’s first liver transplant program at Jaslok Hospital in 1998. She has also been actively involved in liver transplant care in India since then.
