About the doctor

Dr. Aabha Nagral is recognized as one of India's foremost hepatologists with over three decades treating liver disease patients globally. She holds the Master of Gastroenterology Award from the Indian Society of Gastroenterology and is renowned for resolving complex hepatological and transplant cases.

Training at Royal Free Hospital, King's College Hospital London, and Mayo Clinic USA prepared her to establish Western India's first transplant program at Jaslok Hospital in 1998. She pioneered pediatric liver transplantation and hepatology focus in India, coordinating the region's first successful pediatric liver transplant.

Currently directs the Department of Gastroenterology at Jaslok Hospital and holds significant positions in premier national and international medical associations.
