Air Commodore (Dr.) Bhaskar Nandi is a highly respected Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, and Advanced Endoscopy expert with over 36 years of experience in managing complex digestive and liver diseases. A veteran of the Armed Forces Medical Services for 25+ years, he has performed 50,000+ therapeutic endoscopic procedures and played significant roles in liver transplant care and critical liver disease management.

Nationally recognized as faculty and examiner with the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, Dr. Nandi combines clinical expertise with patient-centered care. His career includes service as Head of Clinical and Transplant Hepatology at Amrita Hospital, Senior Consultant at Armed Forces Medical Services, Professor & Head of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Army Hospital (R&R) New Delhi, and Transplant Hepatologist managing liver transplants. He also served as Director of the Armed Forces Organ Donation Program and Commandant of Air Force Central Medical Establishment.

At Sarvodaya Hospital, he leads the department with a vision to establish a Centre of Excellence in GI & Liver Sciences driven by innovation, outcomes, and multidisciplinary expertise.
